| The Port Perry Star received a delightful surprise last week, when a big, brown envelope arrived from the North Pole. In the envelope, was a bundle of letters and a note from Santa himself. Santa explained that he had received a lot of letters from the children of Port Perry and area from the local Post Of- fice, and that he thought we might enjoy prin- | ting some of them in our Christmas edition. | Santa was right! We were thrilled to get copies of the letters and we hope that you will enjoy reading what our local youngsters ex- | . pressed to the jolly old fella. Thank you very much Santa Claus. And a | very Merry Christmas to you, Mrs. Claus and | the elves. 2 -- PORT PERRY STAR -- Tues.
