What next? It's a Cabbage Patch Hospital Is your Cabbage Patch Kid feeling under the weather? A little run- down after. the Christmas season? Worn out from being dragged across the countryside? When their owners get sick they go to the doctor or to a hospital, but where can Cabbage Patch Kids go when they've got the flu? Answer? Stedman's Cabbage Patch Hospital. On February 1st and 2nd, Stedman's will be transformed into a doll hospital, complete with a "nurse" who will use her Stethoscope, blood pressure kit and eye chart (reading- ILOVE MYCABBAGEPA T C H) on any Cabbage Patch doll that comes in- to her office. Stedman's manager, Bill Barr figures there'll be quite a few Cabbage Patch dolls in the "hospital'"' those two days, so he recommends children call ahead for an appointment. For the entire week previous to- the clinic, Stedman's employees will be answering the phone "Stedman's Cabbage Patch Hospital, so kids will know they have the right place. "Mr. Barr wants parents to understand that broken dolls won't actually b> fixed but those needing a little. something ¢can be prescribed + "a little tender loving care' or "lots of sleep." And while the dolls are being examined, their young owners can enjoy free suckers and balloons. And why is Stedman's doing all this? "'In 1984, we sold better than 1,000 Cabbage Patch dolls," Mr. Barr explained. "It's really just our way of saying thanks and to give the kids something to look forward to." The doll hospital will open Friday, February 1st from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. and Saturday, February 2nd from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. To make an appointment, cal Museum looking for old saddles Have any old saddles laying around the barn you don't need?
