The Durham Region District Health Council is seeking individuals who are interested in the op- portunity to have impact on the health care Tourism award system within the Region of Durham with the will- ingness and interest to serve in a volunteer capacity. The District Health Council is an eighteen member advisory body "to the Minister of Health on all matters relating to health care programs and services in the Region. Council advises the Minister on health care needs by respon- ding to requests for sup- port of programs from the community, i.e.- health care organiza- tions, hospitals, concern- ed individuals, and by undertaking its own studies to plan for the current and future health care needs of Durham .Region - csidents.
