At no additional cost to the farmer, crew members are covered by Workman's Compensa- tion and Unemployment Insurance through the Ontario Ministry of Agriculture and Food. Crews have been work- ing since December, splitting wood, cleaning pens, renovating greenhouses, debeaking and innoculating chickens, clipping cattle, trimming sheep hooves plus many other farm related jobs. Crews can be hired to help prune fruit trees, work in the sugar bush and help with snow removal. Crews are not permitted to drive farm vehicles on public roads or use creosote.
