hab ae Shuchita Tae JE. el. " 6-- PORT PERRY STAR -- Tuesday, March 19, 1985 letters Article was excellent Dear Sir: Thanks to Cathy Robb"s interest, we now know more of Maxine -Pedlar. It was an ex- cellent article! The dealings with Maxine left us with a feeling there "must be more', - for whatever reasons she chose to live the life she many times we have had did, the memories of her situation will linger on with those who wanted to help her. We at the Animal Shelter, would like to thank you and your reporter-photographer, Cathy Robb for the fine job she does for us by helping to find homes for some of the strays brought to the Shelter The response to the pic- tures "and stories has been fantastic. We find Cathy to be prompt, cheerful, efficient and an inquisitive young lady. While not all strays brought to the Shelter are adoptable, mostly because of health or behavioural problems, we try our best to suit the pet to it's new home. It is very frustrating to be called to pick up a stray animal to find no iden- tification. Even if the tag were lost, a telephone number on the collar would enable us to call the owners. Bow Wow, Meow and Thank You!
