Art and Ruth Rodgers and family were guests at the McCombe- King wedding in Havelock on Saturday and spending the weekend in Greenbank with their parents were Darlene, Danny and Larry Rodgers. The annual Spring Clean-Up Sale will be held at the hall and park this Saturday, May 25th. Anyone wishing to rent a table can call 985-8351. Any donations to the hall of articles for sale would be most welcome. There will again be a bake sale run by the members of the hall committee. Any donations of baking would be appreciated All monies from this Spring Sale will go to support the Community Hall, so come and join in - the fun. Lunch and refreshments will be available. Congratulations to Mr. and Mrs. Hillis Wilbur of Utica on the celebration of their 25th wedding an- niversary. The dinner and festivities were held at the Uxbridge Legion with several guests from Greenbank including the bride's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Geo. Beare. Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Walker of Hepworth spent the weekend with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. James lanson and also attended the Wilbur anniversary party. Rev. and Mrs. Rodgers and Larry attended the presentation of "The Sound of Music' by the Woodlands Public School in Dunbarton on Thurs- Cartoon at Scugog Library Cartoonist Jeff Wakefield, creator of the "'Bubblegumers" car- toon strip, has been rescheduled to appear at the Library May 25. This is the last of three programs arranged through co-sponsorship with Outreach, a govern- ment grant to help fund Canadian artists in Libraries across Ontario.
