Another highlight of the service was the men's choir consisting of some twenty or so fathers etc. We just MUST have them back again! After the service the sun came out and all journeyed back to the Davis home for a "super meal" Games were played out- side and awards were presented. A great day! Caesarea Community Chui ch With Rev RH Crawford in charge, quite a good service on Sunday morning with Rev. Charles Clarke - the guest speaker. He spoke on Father's Day stress- ing the need to be good fathers, setting a fine ex- ample - the foundation of a youngster's whole life - physical, emotional and mental - are laid in the home. Daniel Pugh Jr. read the Scripture from John 14. Jerry Jonkheer Jr. played for the ser- vice. Many items of fur- niture were dedicated - which had been given to the church by generous folks. Next Sunday 11 a.m. Get Well Wishes Our thoughts and prayers go out to Mrs Children help Utica and Area News by Vera Brown This Sunday at Utica Church, the children will be taking part in the ser- vice which starts at 11:15 a.m. There will be graduation exercises as the students step up to new classes. Following the service there will be a potluck lunch which will be followed by games, races, etc. All are welcome to attend. There will be a euchre in Utica Hall on Friday at 8 p.m. and on Satur- day evening the Hall ~ Board will hold a dance. Mr. Jim Fielding and children of Pefferlaw visited his parents Earl and Irene on Saturday and on Sunday, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Fielding and girls, Mr. Bill Fielding and Miss Donna Wake- ford were supper guests. Bill and I were in Pon- typool on Sunday after- noon to celebrate Father's Day with daughter Dorothy, Den- nis Gerrow and children and we were joined by our son Charlie and Miss Susan Hughes from Kingston. I visited on Saturday with my cousin Joyce and her husband Al Yates in West Hill and my aunt and uncle Mr. and Mrs. Fred Meyers in Scarborough. On Tuesday, Denise Carre accompanied the grade 2, 3 and 4 children of Greenbank School which included Laura and Kevin, on a tour of the Greenbank Airport. Zehrs and the Glitz fac- tory in Uxbridge. On Thursday, Denise and son Kevin had lunch in Toronto with her father Mr. Jack Hinchcliffe and her brother Gary Hin- chcliffe. The John Carres of Bridgenorth were weekend guests with son Eric and family. Bob and Dorothy Aird were Saturday supper guests with the Lorne Slutes. The Slutes were Sunday supper guests with Mr. and Mrs. Larry Ross and boys. Mr. and Mrs. Jack Miller of Mississauga were recent visitors with her mother Mrs. Eva Sutcliffe.
