The monthly meeting of the Prince Albert U.C.W. was held on Wednesday June 12 at 8 p.m. in the United Church basement. Six- teen ladies answered the roll call - "What is your special gift or talent?" Business was short. It 'was voted to send fifty dollars to Elizabeth Werder in the West In- dies. The yard sale will be in September this year, so don't forget when cleaning up after summer. Devotion was done by Eva _Hunter, Diana Brough and Andrea Jones. Their theme being "Everyone is Special in God's Eyes.' They did a splendid job on this, with hymns, prayers and scripture all fitting in perfectly. Lunch was served by Janet Vernon, Andrea Jones and Helen Wozney. Next meeting will be Sept. 11 at 8 sharp. Last weekend June 8 and 9, well that was Eileen Hodgins and Beth Pereman's birthdays, so they decided to travel down to Braeside, On- tario and visit Beth's sister Ann who also has a birthday on June 12th. On the Saturday night, Eileen and Terry, Beth and Lloyd and Jim and Ann all enjoyed dinner in Ottawa. Belated birth- day greetings to you ladies.
