Bake Sale at Stone Barn, July 5th. A harried, Hydro meter reader recently exclaimed 'Every other person in Ontario must be moving this weekend! Well, it's not quite that bad in Seagrave, but there seems to be quite a lot of coming and going. A warm welcome is ex- tended to all of our new neighbours. Meadowview Lane has three new families and construction has startd on two new homes on the "Old Road." The strong sense of community spirit in Seagrave was expressed in the success of the Block Parent campaign started in the spring. Not only are quite a few signs evident, but also the generous donations from the local clubs and organizations were over- whelming. As Seagrave is part of the Greenbank District Block Parent Association, the money was pooled to provide road signs for many area communities - Green- bank, Saintfield, Utica- Epsom and Seagrave. Hopefully, the municipality will have the signs up in our com- munity very soon. On Monday, June 24, the two Seagrave Mite haseball teams met for the first game of their league schedule. The two Greenbank teams also played Monday night with the Uxbridge Nurseries Maple Leafs by a narrow margin On Monday.
