Maybe it was the full moon. A concrete lawn statue of a naked lady standing beside a deer was smash- ed to pieces at a proper- ty of R.R.4, Uxbridge, the might of June 25. Police say the value of the statue 1s undetermin- ed. and they have no idea just why somebody took an apparent dislike to such a work of art. Lilo Czilock reported on what sound- ed like a wonderful time had by all on "The Mystery Bus Tour" which took travellers to Senior Citizens break for summer by E. Irvine Publicity The Senior Citizens held their last meeting for the summer June 26th. The meeting was opened by the President- who also welcomed two visitors, Mr. Norm Bent- ly of Ottawa, and Judy McColl of the Port Perry Library, who spoke to with the Choir, also to Mary Sweetman and Marguerite Lewis for their good work with travel. The rest of the afternoon was enjoyed by cards etc. followed by a pot luck supper, after which we were entertain- ed by our own Choir, also solos by Marion Webster. Mona Mero and Bill our club briefly. Aftem Harper good work alsoa general business was taken care of, we crown- ed our new King and Queen for the coming year, Mr. and Mrs. Fred Dayes, taking over from last years King and Queen, Mr. and Mrs. Joe Forsythe. It was great to see Joe out with us again after his operation. Two presentations were made to Win Philip and Edna Bickett for their work few square dances by some members. All in all, we had a good time. Have a good summer folks.
