Sure, a free dinner and a plaque 1S not going to financially compensate a local business tor the disruption that may take place when an employee i to leave in a hurry to respond to an emergen- y but that's not the point C" The point was to recognize the contribution to the community and to say thanks-to all those employers who allow their people to be part of the fire department The dinner and appreciation night was a nice gesture on the part of the Township and the Fire Department. It says something good about this community and the people who help make it tick Big Brothers and ® gig sisters ® of North Durham "Be a Friend to a Child" BUY A TICKET TO A BEEF DINNER PALMER PARK - PORT PERRY FRIDAY, JULY 12, 1985 4:30 P.M. to 7:00 P.M.
