The baptism was held at Bridgenorth and they gathered at the home of Mr. and Mrs. John Carre following the service. The Lorne Slutes visited on Saturday even- ing with Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Slute of Raglan. Durham Police have had numerous reports of stolen outboard motors this summer in the cot- tage country around Lake Scugog. The most recent inci- dent was the theft of a 9.9 Merc and 6 HP Evinrude from a residence in the View Lake area. Lock chains were cut to get at the motors, valued at $1500 Police are warning cot- tagers and residents not to leave motors on boats overnight.
