Shou Dor Toon ‘Doors Open’ Port Perry month, “Doors Open” and a to Port 1887” have teamed up to bring the community an exciting day full of activities. It all happens on Saturday, August 11. “Come to Port 1887” will in- volve a re-enactment of 1887 events in F Port Perry. Many locals will assume the characters of people who lived here at that time and will par- ticipate in the re-enactment of a Temperance rally. Elsewhere in the Municipality, Scugog has 10 sites to celebrate “Doors Open 2007.” Sites in Caesarea, Blackstock, Prince Albert and Port Perry will be opened for viewing. Aquarama 2007 There’s still more than a month to go, but put aside Sunday, August 19 to take part in the Rotary Club of Port Perry’s Aquar- ama fundraising event at the lakefront. Reg- istration takes place at 9:00 a.m. and races begin 11:00 am. The event takes place in Palmer Park, Port Perry.
