Talented guitarist Fraser Lee returns home for concert One of Port Perry’s home-grown talents, guitarist Fraser Lee, will be the featured [| artist at a concert later this month at the Seagrave United Church. Born in Oshawa, Fraser’s family moved to Port Perry when he was a young boy, where he attended both R.H. Cornish Public School and Port Perry High School. He started lessons on the guitar at the age of nine at the Canadian Conservatory of Music in Oshawa, and later at the Royal Conservatory of Music in Toronto. Fraser is now a full-time teacher at the Canadian Conservatory of Music in Oshawa. He has been teaching all styles of music on both acoustic and electric guitar for the past 34 years. The concert takes place Saturday, Oct. 20 at the Seagrave United Church beginning at 7:30 p.m. Also performing are soprano Gretel Cameron, tenor Len Somerville and the Happy Harmonica of Bill Barr.
