The Pine Ridge Ladies Golf League topped off the season with an afternoon of fun golfing, using the specified club on each hole and guessing what their score for the 9 holes would be. 21 ladies par- ticipated and winners for the round were: Kath Burley, Ellen Curry and Joyce Emmerson. Least putts of 14 were Pat Holden and Judith Davies had the longest drive. The banquet was held at Conway Place in the evening with 39 girls present. The league champs over the summer schedule were "Pond Puddlers," Vivian Rider, Muriel Higgins, Joanne Fowler, Margaret Hall and Ellen Curry. Play-off champs received the Centennial Lanes trophy. They were "Ball Bashers" Leona Tripp, Karen Isen- burg, Terry Pakosta, Gail Farr- ington and Ann Godfrey. Consola- tion champs were "Turtle Thumpers" Marie Charles, Mar- jorie Goldie, Kate Beattie, Becky Pennycook and Christine Miller. Low gross winner was Vera Brown. Best Putter was Marie Charles. Most Improved was Ann Godfrey and Pat Fisher had most points. Trophies for 2 birdies each were awarded to Terry Chriscione and Leona Tripp. Chip-ins with 2 each went to Frances Newton, Linda Calder and Leona Tripp. Several others received silver dollars for their single chip-ins and birdies. Ann McLuckie was the winner of the lucky draw. The executive for 1986: President, Andrea Weir, Past Pres. Vera Brown, Vice Pres.
