Dawn graduated from the Diagnostic Radiography Program at the Toron- to Institute of Medical Technology. Also attending this special occasion were several family members and friends from Kirkfield, Agincourt, Scarborough, Port Perry and Oshawa. A lovely banquet and dance was held afterwards at the Acadian Court, Simpson's Tower. - Congratulations Dawn' Raymond and Jean Kerry attend- ed the 40th Wedding Anniversary of Fred and Peggy Ashton of Ashburn. About 40 relatives and friends en- joyed a hayride and corn roast at Brian and Darlene Gibson's on Sunday The October meeting of UC W will be held at the Church on Oc- tober 9 Mr and Mrs. Van de Walker will be showing slides of the Holy Land Rachel and Armour McMillan, Ross and Marie Cookman visited on Friday evening with Marion and Frank Innes of Sunderland. It was Frank's 82nd birthday. Jack and Margaret Couper- thwaite were entertained by Marion and Les and family at Orillia on Saturday on the occasion of their 40th wedding anniversary Mr and Mrs Wm Stone and Mrs Margaret Real attended the funeral of their friend, Rev Gordon Baulch of Barrie last Thursday. The Induction Service of Rev David Shepherd held at the Church on Sunday evening was attended by members of Lindsay Presbytery, and representatives of Seagrave, Pinedale and Greenbank congrega- tion. At a social hour following the service a warm welcome was ex- tended to the Shepherd family now living in Greenbank Manse. Both church choirs are needing more members. Public school age children who enjoy singing please meet at Church on Wednesdays from 4-4:45 p.m. Senior choir prac- tise on Thursdays at 8 p.m. Bible study this week will be on Thursay, October 3 at 6:45 p.m. at the Manse.
