He buggested that next spring the council may have to consider hiring a part time person to handle by-law enforcement Director found guilty The director of a group home for troubled teens near Sunderland has been found guilty of sexually assaulting two female residents. A District Court jury in Whitby deliberated nearly seven hours last Friday before finding Stuart Taylor guilty on the two charges. He is the director of Pony Tail Farm. The group home licence was suspended last September 24, five days after an 18 year old girl who once lived at the farm told -authorities she had been sexually assaulted. Testimony during the trial from a 13 year old former resident also ac- cused Taylor of sexual assault. Taylor's lawyer Gary McNeeley attempted to prove in court that the two girls lied about the allegations and were in some way out to get even with the group home director. Taylor has been remanded out of custody until October 18 when Judge John Hoolihan will pass sentence. Taylor's lawyer has requested a pre-sentence report.
