On Saturday, Melissa's grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Harvey Denniston from Whiteside and Mr. and Mrs. Jim McGregor and children from Braeside, Ontario, helped Melissa celebrate her birthday. Ronnie Stolar and his lady friend, Janice, and his step brother, Lee Doggett, all from Spanish, Ontario, stopped in to see Florence Smith on the weekend on their way to see the famous Blue Jays in action in Toronto. Mr. and Mrs. Bill Armstrong along with Mr. and Mrs. Len Gallant of Oshawa, enjoyed the beef dinner at the Raglan United Church on Saturday evening. Ladies of the UCW Prince Albert United Church, our regular meeting will be one week late because of the Regional meeting on October 9 so see you all on October 16 at 8 sharp in the church basement.
