The Symbolic Rite of Baptism On Sunday December 8th, an im- pressive Christening was held at the Immaculate Conception Church, Port Perry, when Bishop Clune bap- tised Heather Lee, adorable five months old daughter of Craig and Heather Jones, Scugog Point - the first baby to be baptised by a Bishop in the Church. Family and friends gathered for the christening and later - a lovely buffet luncheon was enjoyed at the proud parents' home with some fifty guests in attendance for this "special" occasion. Dale Davis presented a strong message re the Advent Season bas- ed on Script. Isaiah 40: 3-11 and Mark 1: 1-11. Student minister Verna Windrem assisted with the service reading the Scripture and lit the Advent Candle. An illustrated story was of interest to the fine number of youngsters on hand for S. School.
