THE MEANING OF CHRISTMAS When I was young I could hardly wait for Christmas day because I always enjoyed getting lots of presents and travelling to see my relatives and getting more presents. Today 1 still enjoy getting presents, but I feel different about Christmas. | respect it more. To me, Christmas is a time for getting reac- quainted with my relatives and eating my Grandma's delicious homemade buns. 1 still love Christmas, but now I love it even more because it means more to me. ' I like receiving all of the beautiful presents, and having a great big turkey dinner. But I pe y think the main part of Christmas is to remember Jesus Christ. Some people think it is just the presents, and dinner that makes Christmas. Those people I think are just thinking of themselves and not remembering that Jesus Christ died on the cross for us.
