In the Island United it started Sun- day morning when we were made aware of the time by the usual Christmas display in the entry by Mrs. Madeline Cawker. Christmas colour brightened the interior with Poinsettia arrangements and a beautiful plant donated by Ives Florist. The Service was introduced by the sizeable Jr. Choir singing the Introit "Gentle, Gentle Jesus.' The Sr. Choir too was in full support on Sunday. Next Sunday is White Gift Sunday and our last chance to collect food and gifts in the way oi clothes or toys for our 'Christmas Care Family." Don't forget the Island Church has a Coffee Hour every month and a babysitter is needed at the Com- munity Hall for 2 hours or so and will be paid according to the number of children in your care. If you are interested, please call Daine McKinzey at 985-7049. There will be the usual Bible Study at the Island United Wednes- PORT PERRY STAR -- Tuesday, December 17, 1985 -- 55 Last week to fulfill those plans day, December 18.
