At 10:06, Brian Nicholson showed why he is running away with the goal scoring race in the Central Junior C loop as he grabbed a loose puck at the side of the Bruin net and buried a wrist shot in the top corner from a sharp angle. After the Bruins made it 5-3, Chris Nicholson gave the MoJacks a three goal bulge early in the third as he pumped in a rebound. The Bruins still battled back with a goal at 3:48 to make it 6-4. But at the mid-point, the MoJacks took charge of the game as Johnstone netted his third of the evening and then Jon Campbell scored a short-handed marker by banking a shot off the goalie after Brian Hendricks had rushed the length of the ice. The final marker came late in the period off the stick of Jeff Duncan who was set up nicely in front of Dean Smith and Chris Nicholson. Duncan is playing fine hockey for the MoJacks and the game against the Bruins was one of his best as he used his speed to good advantage. While there were numerous minor penalties throughout the game, the only real fighting took place with 12 seconds left as Rob Nicholson and Brent Barton bounced punches off the helmets at centre ice. In Uxbridge on December 20, the MoJacks fell behind 3-0, and were never really in this game. Scoring for the MoJacks were Dean Smith, Jon Campbell; and Brian Hendricks.
