How about that? I'll guarantee it will work wonders! Nestleton Afternoon UCW Meet The first meeting in the new year- 1986- was held at the home of Gwen Malcolm in Nestleton on January 14th. Unit Leader Jean Williams called the meeting to order with a cordial welcome and a New Year thought. Nine members answered the Roll Call "What did you grouch about today?' Many amusing answers were given. Helen Vine "presented the inspiring worship opening with hymn, "Blest be the tie that binds." Scripture was taken from Matthew 25: 25-29. Saturday evening, Merle Heint- zman, Blackstock, and Neta Fish, Nestleton, went to Lindsay Hospital to visit Heather Munroe, Sonya, who has been hospitalized with a bout of pneumonia. We extend "best wishes" to friend Heather for better health soon. Blue Ray Chapter Entertains District Deputy A small attendance at Blue Ray. Chapter for the January meeting due to poor weather conditions. Worthy Matron Sister Marguerite Mitchell and acting Worthy Patron Brother Wilfred Alexander of Oshawa extended a warm, fraternal welcome to the D.D.G.M. Sister Audrey De Beaupre of West Hill, who paid her official visit of Inspec- tion. She was escorted to the East by acting Conductress Stella Dennis. During the short business period, communications were received from many sources read by Secretary Marg Jeffrey. Sister Katie Collins was welcom- ed into our Chapter and we trust she'll enjoy the many activities and the fellowship of the members. Be- ing an active member can open many doors and pave the way to a more enriching life. I wonder if we are aware of the immense value derived from being a member of the Order.
