The Scugog Arena will be filled with magic when the Port Perry Figure Skating Club presents its an- nual carnival April 11 and 12. Magic is the theme of this year's excitement, featuring genies, magi- cians, bunnies that pop out of hats, doves, devils, fairies, spirits, wit- ches, wizards and princes. As organizers begin the final countdown to the event, the 125 skaters taking part are busy prac- tising their routines, being fitted for glitzy costumes and just generally getting nervous. Guest skaters at the carnival are Hilary and Leslie Brown, who are well known in national skating com- ~ petition levels. Tickets for Friday and Saturday night performances are $4.50 for adults, $3. for senior citizens and $2. for children, and are available at the door.
