Festival Port Perry High School "Jazz- merize" was one of 14 vocal groups to qualify to perform at the Cana- dian Vocal Festival in Vancouver, B.C. The Ontario Vocal Jazz Festival took place on Friday and Saturday, April 11 and 12th at O'Neill Col- legiate in Oshawa. This is a non-competitive festival with groups judged against the Na- tional Standard. The three standard levels are silver and bronze, and more one may be award- ed in any category if the ad- judicators find that it is warranted. Only the Gold Level groups have been invited to perform in the Cana- dian Vocal Festival in Vancouver, from May 14-19.
