The conference will take place form 6:30 p.m to 9:00 p.m. on Fri- day, April 18 and from 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Saturday, April 19. It is sponsored by The City of Oshawa, the YWCA, The Ontario Ministry of Tourism and Recreation and Durham College. Conference registration will take place Friday starting at 5:30 p.m. in the Main Foyer at Durham College. The opening address for the con- ference will be in the College Dining Lounge at 6:30 p.m. and will be delivered by Oshawa Mayor Allan Pilkey. It is recommended that those interested in the conference notify the organizers as soon as possible as the number of -par- ticipants is limited. Cost for the con- ference is $35 and this fee includes Saturday's lunch and dinner. The fee made payable to The YWCA should be sent to Donna Davidson, YWCA, 199 Centre Street South, Oshawa, Ontario L1H 4A8. The con- ference is designed to identify the common leadership needs of volunteer executives in the Durham Region, and to improve ad- ministrative skills and organiza- tional effectiveness. It will increase contact and co-operation among community groups.
