The news of the weck at Bugtussel Corners is the arrival of a handsome little son for our neighbours John and Donna Kent. Derrick Nicholas arrived home on Monday and judg- ing by his birth weight of a whopp- ing 10 lbs. 11 oz. it won't be long un- til he's able to play with his big sister Erin. Congratulations folks - he's a real sweetheart! The Watch family have certainly been busy this past month. On April 6 Herb and Kathy were honoured by their family at a special dinner par- ty held at the Deer Park Inn near Stouffville to celebrate the occassion of their 30th Wedding Anniversary. Best wishes for many more happy years to-gether from all your Seagrave friends. On Saturday April 26 their youngest daughter Miss Tracey Watch exchanged marriage vows with Mr. Robt. Carroll of Oshawa in a lovely ceremony held in the Col- umbus United Church. Assisting her sister as Maid of Honour was Miss Terry Watch. Congratulations to Mr. and Mrs. Carroll - may all your days be happy ones. During the past few weeks several village families have suffered the loss of someone dear to them. We extend sympathy to Mr. Hoester- mann in the loss of his wife, to Mrs. John Bright in the sudden loss of her father, the late Mr. Fred Gordon, to Mrs. Ken Sturman in the loss of her Mother the late Mrs. Alice Rowan and to Mr. Don Hurst and sons of Honey's Corners in the untimely loss of their wife and mother the late Mrs. Blanche Hurst. Our thoughts and prayers are with these families during their sorrow. Also Mr. and Mrs. Paul Broad in the loss of daughter Karen Darlene. - Congratulations and best wishes to two R.H. Cornish teachers who have just been delivered new babies. Irene and George Manituis happily welcome a new little into their home. Her name is to be Kelley Anne and she will share her parents attention with her big sister. : Nancy and John Bark are pro- bably busy painting everything blue since their gift was a lovely baby son, Donald Stewart who arrived on April 12 and is sole heir to the throne - 80 far! We were sorry to hear of the ac- cident last week-end that sent Dan Denby of Saintfield to Sunnybrook Medical Centre and we all hope that you and your friend Scott Burke will DINK WITH US? rapidly improve Dan. The Beef Supper, as reported in last weeks news, was definitely a tremendous success and I would like to also express my appreciation to everyone who in anyway con- tributed to its success - especially my super group of young people to 'whom I'm forever indebted!
