There were not as many presents as expected due to illness and death in the community. The Bethesda-Reach W.I1. had a well attended Annual Meeting at the home of Corrine Croxall. On June 25th, the Bethesda-Reach W.1. are taking a tour of the Parlia- ment Buildings and are anticipating a viewing of the quilted wall hang- ing which has been presented to the Queen from Women's Institute. Next will be a visit to the Science Centre, where there is a world food display. They will compare foods for many countries around the world and computerize food consumption from various areas. Before returning home a stop will be made at Cullen's Barns for dinner. We were sorry to hear of the pass- ing of a former neighbour Mr. Her- man Kerry.
