On the weekend Port Perry com- peted in the Bud Bodkin Fastball Tournament at Dieppe Park in Toronto losing in the semi-finals to "the Oxford Realty team 5-0. Previously Port had beaten Ajax 8-3 and Hollinger's 4-3. The 8-3- win over Ajax featured Legion slides to 5th spot homeruns by Bill Owen and Rob Evans in support of Ken Irvine's 1st start. Game 2 saw Port jump to a quick 4-0 lead and saw Hollinger's score 3 in the sixth inning to make the game a nail biter to the finish. A strong pit- ching performance was turned in by Paul Graham. In Port's final contest they faced a powerful intermediate club in Ox- ford Realty who scored once in the 3rd and 5th innings and added 3 more in the 6th inning. Starter Mark Goreski took the loss.
