The massive Telethon involved the efforts of hundreds of people, in- cluding well-known entertainers, sports figures, politicians and media people. Second annual Sexy Man contest underway Once again the race is on to find this year's "sexy men' in Scugog Township. The Sexy Man Contest is the ma- jor fund raising venture for the Toronto & District Chapter of the Kidney Foundation. Donna Shanley is the co-ordinator and is hoping this year's contest is as successful and fun as last years. With the help and good sportsman- ship of 27 sexy man nominees the contest raised $11,000 in 1985. These funds to toward research, education and patient services. With over 80 people in Durham with Kidney disease and 4 transplant patients within Scugog alone the funds rais- The rules for the contest are sim- ple enough.
