PORT PERRY STAR -- Tuesday, October 7, 1986 -- 39 Art for pre-schoolers All children have fun with art so the Port Perry YMCA is offering a program of crafts for young children age 3-5. Some of the crafts include puppets, painting and special holiday crafts. Each week a different craft will be featured. Children will enjoy the time to . socialize with others their own age. Songs, games and stories will be an integral part of the program which runs on Friday or Saturday morn- ings beginning October 10. The fee for the 10 week program is $25.00. Tiny Tots is a relatively new pro- gram being offered for children age 12 to 24 months. It allows Moms or Dads the opportunity to paste, paint, play with puzzles and toys, learn fingerplays and participate in songs and story-telling. It is an excellent program for toddlers to experience socializing outside the home. This program is offered on Friday mor- nings and again on Saturday morn- ing for working parents. It begins October 10th and the cost is $20.00 for 10 weeks. For more information on these. programs or to register call Marilyn Pearce - 985-2824.
