'Youth meet on Friday Utica and Area News by Vera Brown The Youth Group will meet this 'and each Friday at 8 p.m. and is open to teens 13 and up. For infor- mation contact Gail or Arnold Kerry. Choir practise this week is at the Sobil's in Utica at 8 p.m. Thursday. Church and Sunday School will be held this week in Epsom Church at 11:15 a.m. The Social Club will hold a Hallo- ween party on October 24th starting at 8 p.m. in Epsom Church. Miss Laura Carre had a few friends over on Friday and they had a swim party at Uxpool. Mr. and Mrs. Jack Hinchcliffe were Fri. and Sat. guests with the Carres. Eric, Denise and children were Thanksgiving Sunday guests with the John Carres in Bridgenorth. Mrs. Crosier was a visitor with Dean and Gloria Beare of Oshawa on Saturday. Sunday guests with Mrs. Crosier were Wally and Jean Scott of London and their daughter Donna and grandchildren Neysa In- nes and Mrs. C. Scott of Toronto. Dale and Karen Beare of Burlington called on Mrs. Crosier on Monday. Congratulations to Mrs. Crosier who has a new great granddaughter born last week to Dave and Brenda Bradstreet in Toronto. Mrs. Eva Sutcliffe was a guest at the Stewart Bray home on Saturday. Visitors on the weekend with the Sutcliffes were Doris Bray and children and Miss Michelle Brockman. Mrs. Mildred Thompson had Thanksgiving on Sunday with the Clarke family in Uxbridge. Those present were Jim and Audrey Leishman and family of Reaboro, Marlene Bannister and family and Keith and Rhonda Ban- nister and little Nicole of Peter- borough, and Calvin and Yvonne Holland and family who reside with Neta. A great family get-together. Sam and Mabel Cawker enjoyed weekends guests for the Thanksgiv- ing Festival with Arthur and Carroll Cawker of Sudbury and daughter Cheryl and son Bryan of Waterloo University with them. Lots of activi- ty and a wonderful visit made it a great weekend. Robert and Madelaine Cawker were callers on Sunday. Fred and Mabel Dayes enjoyed Thanksgiving dinner with Charlie and Lorraine Andrews at Prince Albert. Ladies Aid Meets The October meeting of Nestleton Ladies Aid was held Thursday at 1:30 p.m. in the Sunday School Room. The Devotional in charge of Mrs. Winnifred Davison was from Psalm 105, with meditation from Our Daily Bread on "Expressing Our Thanks." Mrs. Dorothy Lee president, con- ducted the business, after the cor- respondence was read. The Church Calendars have been received; and planning for the Turkey Dinner on Friday, October 17th at the Neastleton Community Centre was completed. (See notice in Port Perry Star). Mrs. Norma Wolfe gave a reading from Gregory's Clark's book "Clouds of Gunners."
