The December 11th meeting will be the "gala' Christmas party with a fun program for all, with Santa Claus bouncing in with a Ho! Ho! Ho! to give out the goodies. Then along comes January 8th ... Inspection night with all of- ficers on their toes striving for perfection in their work! An in- teresting evening for all! After Chapter closed, lovely refreshments were served buffet style by Sisters Isabel Wilson, Kay Walker and Katie Collins with sociability enjoyed. Good friends - good fellowship - and good food - another memorable evening in Blue Ray this Carousel of Faith-Love and Joy year 1986-1987! Caesarea News Items of Interest At the friendly, interesting game of cards held in the Centre on Wed. evening, the winners were: First prize- Irene Train with 85. Second prize- Jack Poots with 79. Mary Poots held the low score with 37. Lunch was prepared and served by held Wed. Dec. 3rd, at 7 p.m. Will everyone please bring a favourite dish! A turkey and ham roll will be held on Sat. The Caesarea Ladies are offering babysitting for Caesarea residents only, on Sat. Dec. 13th, from 12 noon to 4 p.m., so that mothers are free to go shopping. Lunch will not be provided for the youngsters. A Christmas raffle is being held with proceeds to aid the Caesarea Community Centre projects. Sixth Birthday Celebrated Little Linsey Ingram of R.R. 1, Nestleton, had her 6th birthday on Sunday, Nov. 23 with 104ittle school chums present to help celebrate. Her mom and dad "'hosted' the par- ty. Many exciting, colourful gifts and a lovely birthday cake added to make it a thrilling day for Linsey! Her grandparents Bill and Kay In- gram dropped in on their way home from Toronto, to have a piece of cake with her. CRIME STOPPERS Crime Stoppers and the Durham Regional Police are asking for the Public's assistance in solving a car theft and later a Robbery which occurred in the early hours of April 4, 1986. At about 2:30 in the morning a man entered a house on St. Peter St., Whitby and stole a set of keys for a 1986 Pontiac Grand AM which was parked outside. He then drove the vehicle to the Brooklin area and at about 3:55 in the morning he entered another house on the 8th Concession. The opening hymn- "Lord of all Nations We Pray." Ber- tha McLaughlin prepared the mean- ingful worship, reading Scripture ... Revelations 3: 19-22 and the medita- tion was from "These Days." Two boxes of Christmas cards were purchased to be sent to the Community Nursing Home and families who have attended the church. The members decided to present some extra cups and saucers to the Court Ladies to be us- ed in the Community Centre. For the programme- two readings of in- terest were read by Mabel Dayes- "The Faithful Few' and Norma Wolfe "The Adoped Daughter."
