The service were stubbies, in existence for the last 25 years. Visitors from other countries would flock to Canada, often to do nothing more than enjoy our brew, heartier than the stuff found in the States or in many other parts of the world. And for those people, and for us, the stub became 'a symbol of Canada. Now, it too will completely disappear. Really, the only things left us are back bacon, which is too ex- pensive for most of us to enjoy on a regular basis; toques, which are 2 totally out of fashion right now: "eh?" which most Canadians try to avoid saying because the ex- pression is so "'rural"; and Bob and Doug MacKenzie, who have lost their appeal along with neo- ple like Michael Jackson and David Cassidy. What's peally left? . Oh, the beaver is still around. No dapger of our flat-tailed friend going extinct. Yet. And the Mounties. Yes, the Mounties still wear red, and they still get their man. And for die- hards, well, we can still catch re- runs of Dudley Do-Right. ranged for this billboard to go on display last Fri- day in front of the municipal office on Perry THE NEW 1987 QUICK START pins PROGRAM. was held at the Anglican Church in Port Perry.
