Unit leader Jean Williams opened with a poem, 'What are Valentines?" by Helen Steiner Rice. After welcoming all, she called on Anne for the Devotional. She spoke of various ways we may find God, and especially in Nature. She read - Psalm 19 which begins, 'The Heaven's are telling the Glory of God." She also spoke of the intricate planning which must have gone in- to creating the Universe and all liv- ing creatures. In no way could this be just chance! Hymn 582- *'All Thirigs Bright & Beautiful." was sung. Anne closed with prayers. Following the Minutes and Treasurer's report .. the Roll Call, "A Hobby I Enjoy" answered. Leader Jean Williams reminded members of the World Day of Prayer Service on Mar. 6th at Blackstock Anglican Church and the Presbyterial at Harmony United Church on Mar. 10th. was well CITRUS Members moved to the Pottery Studio where Anne Emerson gave a most interesting talk on her work all the while throwing clay on the Potter's w heel. Her talented hands created a bowl, a pitcher and a vase before our very eves. We all deeply admired the patience, skill and dedication it takes to create such beautiful items. Pehniary 10the RH Cornish French Immersion students from grades 3 to 6 were entertain- ed by the 'Theatre De Petit Bonhure." The production was call- ed Rose, Rose, Rose and was not about a bunch of flowers This performance featured three main characters and their moveable puppets which brought roars of laughter throughout the performance. The actors were full lof life and their expression kept the students wide eyed and wondering what was going to happen next Over all the performance was well liked by both students and-teachers It is great for the students to ex- perience the French language in © Situations outside the classroom and to taste the culture of their second language.
