Dean Haugen and Doug Brown won the 4th event at the annua? Las Vegas Bonspiel in Lindsay on that same weekend Port Perry curler Debbie Van Camp was competing in the Junior Mixed Regionals this past weekend at Annandale. Playing withthe An- drew Mepstead rink from Oshawa, they lost their first game, came back to win the second, but were eliminated in a squeaker in the third game Congratulations to the rink of Ken and Judy Jeffrey, Bill Tre dwas and Kelly Owen on winning the Tayler Insurange Bonspiel this past Satur- day Next Saturday is the Gord Lewis Men's Open Bonspiel Y judo results On Sunday. Feb. 22,1987, the Port Perry YMCA Shodokai Judo Club took part in their first inter-club competition with a club from Markham Six members took part and won fourteen out of eighteen matches. Successful participants were Todd Parry, Adam and Aaron Tussen, Mike Wright, Russell Whitehead and Andy Mackie. On Friday, Feb 27th, the club Legion Pee Wees out The Port Perry Legion Pee Wees travelled to Napanee on Thursday, March 5th and Sunday March 8th to - finish their series. On Thursday Jan Heyes got our only goal on a nice passing play from Jason Cochrane. The score on Thursday was Napanee 9 -- Port Perry.1 and on Sunday the score was Napanee 6 -- Port Perry 0 The team really hustled well.but ONLY .../ $ 99 1999 KARWORLD & VANWORLD 1670 Simcoe Street North, Oshawa travelled to Brampton for a second competition and again met with great success. The tournament was made up of six clubs and with over 150 competitors the Port Perry club' managed to win 2 gold medals, 2 silver medals and 2 bronze.
