Now the grass is showing green in response. As the birds responded to an ear- ly return call so did the winter vaca- tioners. Some of these 'included Madeline and Bob Cawker with 2 weeks in Florida and Joan and Cam Aldred with 6 weeks in Florida. This week 'Head' U.C.W. ladies and their friends will be serving in the Hospital Tuck Shop. Last Wednesday evening 14 ladies of the "Head" U.C.W. met at the home of Mrs. Marie Clark in Port Perry. The Easter study about' Japanese Women and prison camps was very interesting. Many beautiful items were donated for the Art & Craft Show in COLD CUT CENTRE > A & BAKE SHOP May. The ladies will sell refreshments at John Price's farm supply sale on April 23. After many treatments, Claude Parker on the main Island road has been home. from hospital for a cou- ple of weeks, awaiting further deci- sions. So we trust it will all be well.
