At the time of writing it appears that the Gambler long time centre fielder Dennis- Romeril and their designated hitter Brian Myers have also decided to hang up the spikes, and pitcher Roland Osske has mov- ed to Oshawa. - Some rebuilding of the Greenbank team is taking place and the addi- tion of nifty soutiipaw Mark Goreski is- a major acquisition for the Gamblers. Mark was the mainstay - of the Oshawa M.C.L. pitching staff last-year and pitched Oshawa.into the semi-finals of the All Ontario Junior "A" Tournament. Also joining the Greenbank team this year is catcher Brian Henricks 'who formerly played with the Port Perry Midgets and last year played with Agincourt Juniors. The new Gambler battery of Mark Goreski and Brian Henricks should provide lots of fastball entertain- ment for the Gambler fans. Also returning to the club are pit- cher Ken Goreski, catcher Don Phinney, designated hitter Hugh Johnson, infielders Trevor Till, John Foster, Rodd Real, Don Beaton and 'Brian Till and out- fielders Greg Rodd, Neil Rodd, George Redshaw, Terry Till and Ray Meisner. 3 The team will again be coached by Steve Foster, manager is Rodd Foster and the sponsors are Lloyd and Marion Lee. ~ | The fastball season is fast ap- proaching and we hope to see the fans out at the ball parks for some great fastball entertainment.
