Tuesday we loaded up 4 cars and headed down to the Woolco Mall for a day of shopping. Many articles were purchased by the residents. After enjoying their lunch at the Mall Restaurant we returned for some last minute shopping in Woolco. . On the way home we took the 'scenic route. Everyone was very in- terested in looking at the rural "homes, farms and animals. An en- joyable day was had by all. During the evening the Port Perry Baptist. Church provided a service. Wednesday, our friends from Ux- bridge Dahiem Nursing Home visited for our 'Daffodil Tea." Everyone arrived wearing their Easter Bonnets. A sing-song lead by Mrs. Claire Whitter started off the afternoon. We played a few games and did some judging of the Easter Bonnets. The funniest hat award went to Jessie Goode, and the Most Original went to l.onel Blaikie. Everyone then enjoyed a delicious Easter cake & ice cream with their refreshments. A lot of the ladies were surprised at what a difference a microwave is from a conventional oven. Later in the afternoon Mr. about "Wills," "'Residents Rights," and then had a Question and Answer _ Period. The majority enjoyed this event as Mr. Davies answered a lot of their- longtime unanswered questions. Tuesday was designated 'Ability Defeats Disability Day."
