It's the only way to let the community know of our happenings. We have lots of baseball news this week with our Seagrave Mite teams participating in the Port Perry Minor Ball Tournament on Satur- day. The Junior Mites coached by Grant Jackson and Roy Puckrin played 3 games and won 2. Con- gratulations kids! The Senior Mites coached by Wayne and Jan Addison played well but were ousted after 3 games. Thank you to all the coaches for their patience and dedication in coaching our future baseball players. It's hard to believe the kids will soon be trading their bats and balls for skates and sticks with hockey registration right around the corner. Last week the Marsh Hill Jersey Squirt Girls won the Championship Runner-Up against Blackstock. The girls played five games and lost the last game in the last inning the score being 12-8. Congratulations girls for giving your best. Thank you to Al Wray and Rob Kearns for their fine coaching and to Joan Poppleton for being scorekeeper all year.
