Hi, Fellow Columbites: Can it be that Spring is peeking her sprightly head above the snow? Let's hope so!! This Spring, Rev. Gordon Rutherford, B.A., M.Div. has had his work entitled 'What Religion Are You God" published. And the very fact that it is published is proof positive that the power of prayer and the listening to and following of the answers does in- deed remove obstacles and make our paths straight. Rutherford call- ed upon God for inspiration, courage and direction and his faith in God was rewarded with the publication of this book. In his book, Rev. Gordon ex- plores the teaching of many of the world's present day religions -- their fundamental precepts and practices throughout history and today. It is a book for thinkers of all religions. It is a book well worth having. It answers may questions and answers them well. Good Going, Rev. ... Good news about religion is hard to come by these days. We would like to sponsor an art show this spring, and although we have several artists now, we would be glad to accommodate more. So, let's hear from you. May I wish my father, Lorne Thompson a Happy 75th Birthday from all of us. In your case, that old saying "You're not getting older, you're getting better," holds true.
