Correction For last week -- Cost of keeping a prisoner is $70.00 a day not $10.00. Sorry about the error. Sympathy Extended Our deepest sympathy to the Sweetman family in the loss of a beloved Mother, Mary Sweetman of Port Perry. She hadn't been well for some time. As we remember Mary a few years back...she was a. well known, capable, gifted, hard working lady...a community minded per- son...driving her taxi for many years in and around the town...a very familiar figure...for the con- venience of so many. She will be greatly missed! She leaves to mourn -- daughters, Eleanor, Carol, Thelma and Beverly, and sons Keith & Peter and their families, sisters Helen MacMaster & Tot Holtby and a brother Allan. Her husband Stewart and brother Clarence predeceased her some years ago. The First Day Of Spring Spring was ushered in this past Sunday at 439 A.M. so we're on the way folks! I've seen a few crows - the odd robin - starlings in numbers - the trees look about to bud - and there was a "hint" of a smile on my husband's face this morning as he left to chore - and that is really something! Edgar & Anne Emerson of Nestleton, have recently returned from an enjoyable trip to Mexico - a well deserved holiday! auto glass & trim td.
