According to police, there was nothing stolen, but there was damage to the house. Meanwhile in Uxbridge Township, firefighters had a busy Easter Weckend as they responded to two serious fire. The first on April 2 at about 5:00 AM caused an estimated $60,000 damage to a home at Lot 22 Concession Two. There were no injuries and the fire is believed to have started in the basement. And the following morning about the same time, fire caused about $50,000 damage to a barn at Lot 1, Concession Two. Two horses and numerous chickens and rabbits were lost in the blaze. The cause is under in- vestigation, but may have been electrical.
