There were lots of smiles and tears at the Terry Hodgins on Simcoe St., after nearly 2 years away from home, wandering around the world, their daughter Heather found Prince Albert again. Many thanks to the above merchants for their generous donations. On April 9th, a small group of our members attended the An- nual O.H.A. Meeting for District 17, which includes 12 Hor- ticultural Societies. This year's meeting was hosted by Oshawa Garden Club at Camp Samac. A full day of activities, guest speakers & competitions was en- joyed by all. Happy to report that our members who participated in the competitions won several prices. They were Pat Kingstone, Shirley Love & Alice Turcotte. Winners in the Junior Garden Club were Kimberley Coates, Kathie Coates, Kingsley Malcolm & Scott Gobel. Our Plant Sale Table at the P.P. Community Hospital Ladies Auxiliary Spring Fair did quite well. We were able to raise $115.00 for the Ladies Auxiliary. Thank you to all our donators & purchasers.
