Larry Emmerson Insurance was unavailable for presentation. A video of the Kub Kar Rally held at the Legion on March 1 was made vedas by Larry Emmer- son for the viewing to the boys and parents. Photographs of the Halloween Party, Kub Kar Rally, District trophies won for Kub Kars & Bike Rodeo as well as Kub Kars 'were on display. Scout Canada letters of appreciation were accepted by Sue Parkin & Sue Gower co-chairperson of the A.C.W. on behalf of the Church of the Ascension for their support and to Doug Butt who accepted on behalf of Branch 419 Legion for their financial help. Doug Butt expressed his thanks for the award and stated the Legion was always willing to help Scouting and presented a finan- cial contribution to help with the Scouting program. Letters were also to be presented later to Port Perry I.G.A. & Canadian Tire. Lloyd Greenough presented the leaders with'token gifts of Scouting mugs for their year of service. Token gifts were also given to Allynne Jones, Larry Emmerson, Joanne Howsam, Doug Morden & Greg Smith for their help during the year. Greg Smith presented Scout Canada 1 year service pins to Karen Sanders, Beth Potter, Lloyd Greenough & two year pin to Paul Sherwood.
