The game started out with Bruton's only having 6 players, so Greenbank sent over 3 of their players, Aaron Stiller, Michael Saunders, Dana Hooker and spectator for Green- bank, Melinda Saunders. This left Greenbank with 7 players who in turn picked up Tammy, Shannon and Danielle Timms who were spectators for Greenbank and were on a weeks holiday at their grandparents Joan and Fred Timms. These 3 girls also play ball for Ballantrye Lions Mite team and we thank you for help- ing out. It turned out to be a fun game for all. The game was back and forth when at the top of the 6th, Brutons went ahead 17-13. Greenbank took their last bat and with lucky breaks and good hitting, came back and won 19-17. Playing well for Greenbank was Matt Blowe who also went 5 for 5 at the plate. Greg Phayre, Heather Tredway and Tammy Timms all hit 4 for 4. For Bruton's team, Tim White had a grand slam home run and went 4-4 at bat. Good hitting Tim. Also getting 4-4 was Brad Shanley. We Deliver The NE WW SS Read the Star weekly!
