I was very happy to read, Mr. & Mrs. Bates, that you visit our park often, with your children so they can enjoy the playground equip- ment which was so proudly in- stalled by a local "Service" club. Both my husband and myself belong to this club. We had bake sales, fashion shows, dances, we ran bingo every week and did many more projects to raise money for our community. One of our projects was to install the playground equipment. Raising the money was not a chore, we had fun working together. Perhaps Mr. & Mrs. Bates, the service club you belong to, could add the wading pool or a slide for smaller children. You only get out of your community, what you put into it.
