His expertise and knowledge with the art of flower arranging was enjoyed by all. The monthly competition was won by Marilyn Bailey who was presented with a video tape donated by Canadian Tire, Pat Kingstone 2nd who won a flower decoration candle holder given by Scugog Janitorial Service and 3rd Hazel Gray, presented with a fur PORT PERRY STAR -- SAT? YRYIN TANN key ring donated by Paula Lishman. Despite the poor grow- ing season the Flower and Vegetable Garden competiton was quite successful, as was our Sept. Fall Flower and Vegetable Show. Winners of the Garden competition - Flowers, 1st Alice Turcotte, 2nd Anne MacIntyre and 3rd Tina Wolters. Vegetables, 1st Dini Oosterholt, 2nd Alice Tur- cotte and 3rd Joe Wygerde.
