It will soon be time to attend your choice of autumn DONNENL Y Christine Donnelly and Ted Naklicki exchanged wedding vows on August 6, 1988 at the Columbus United Church. Rev. Gordon Rutherford officiated at the ceremony. The bride is the daughter of Shirley and Emile Donnelly of Port Perry. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Walter Naklicki of Oshawa. Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a cocktail- length satin dress. The bodice was accented with a sweetheart neckline and was embroidered with seed pearls and sequins. A lace-edged skirt fell from a gathered cummerbund. The bride was attended by her sister Larraine Beer, as her matron of honour. Her bridesmaids were her sister Linda Donnelly, Maureen MacKay and Joanne Kaaz. Bill Bickle of Orono was the best man. Donnie Martin, Harry Vogels and Glen Caza of Oshawa were the ushers. The flower girl was Lindsey Beer, the bride's niece and the ring boy was Justin Naklicki, nephew of the groom. The newlyweds now live in Oshawa. Our own U.C.W. will join in on the huge, annual craft show at the high school with erafts and bak- ed goodies. As this was the last regular at- tendance for our member Alva Thompson, who is moving to Richmond Hill, we were pleased to have an opportunity to express our appreciation to her and regret at having to let her go. On Mon. 'evening Tom and Doreen had sup- per with David and Shirley Evans in Uxbridge. Bren and Vera Neal of Enfield, England were visiting the Tapscott families for a few days last week. They enjoyed a trip to Algonquin Park to see the autumn colour display. Mr. Gdurlie arrived home from the hospital on Fri. and enjoyed the Thanksgiving dinner at the home of his daughter Doris Arm- strong, where Howard and Helen Gourlie of Oshawa and Jim and Faye Gourlie and family Joined them.
