Skills centre formed Durham College, Oshawa is pleased to announce the forma- tion of the new "Industrial Train- ing Centre" in its Faculty of Skills Development. The Mandate of the new centre is to expand and promote In- dustrial Training Programs cur- rently available at the College, targeted for the Business, Con- struction and Industrial Sectors. The commitment is to better serve the training needs of com- panies in the Durham Region and surrounding area. The College has an impressive history of industrial training ranging from fundamental to basic technology to high technology. For companies who have specific training needs, the Col- lege can provide assistance to develop a training plan, generate the necessary curriculum, pro- vide qualified instructors as well as offer suggestions for suitable funding - mechanisms to defray training costs.
